LUXYCLAD IS A SOPHISTICATED BLEND OF UV STABLE INKS SUBLIMATED INTO HYPER DURABLE POWDER COATINGS. APPLIED TO ARCHITECTURAL GRADE EXTRUDED ALUMINUM, THIS PROCESS PRODUCES THE HIGHEST QUALITY BUILDING MATERIALS.
Luxyclad exclusively uses extruded aluminum, a light weight, strong and corrosion resistant material in the production of our products. Aluminum extrusion is the technique used to transform aluminum alloy, pushed through intricate and complex dies, into definitive, cross-sectional profiles for a wide range of applications. The extrusion process makes the most of aluminium’s unique combination of
physical characteristics, specifically malleability and ductility. Its ductility allows it to be easily extruded while its malleability allows it to be pressed and formed into complex shapes. Also at one third the density and stiffness of steel the resulting products offer exceptional strength and stability making it the most reliable choice in the production of exterior grade architectural products.
Extruded aluminum creates tight tolerances resulting in a consistent
and complete system of interlocking components. Luxyclad is made from 70% recycled content and is completely recyclable at the end the materials life span. With its low-cost recyclability, high rate of scrap recovery and the relative abundance of its ore, Luxyclad is economically and environmentally sustainable.
Luxyclad employs powder coating technology, an environmentally-
friendly process in which free-flowing, thermoset powder material, rather than a liquid suspension, is applied to the surfaces of our materials. Once the powder is applied, the materials enter an oven to melt and fuse with the aluminum to form a smooth hard finish. Powder coating produces a long-lasting and hyper durable, hard finish
that is both protective and decorative. Demonstrating more resistance to impact, moisture, chemicals and extreme weather than most liquid coatings of similar thickness, powder coatings offer greater protection from scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading and general wear. Powder coated finishes act as electrical and can withstand thousands of hours of salt spray contact.
Powder coated finishes act as electrical insulators and can withstand thousands of hours of salt spray contact. Even after being subjected to extreme environments, the color remains brilliant and vibrant. This durability makes powder coatings well-suited for abrasive, high traffic, or high use areas, as well as diminishes the need for future coating touch-ups or replacement.
Following powder coating, Luxyclad utilizes a high tech sublimation technology. Films containing UV-stable inks with various replicated wood patterns are wrapped around the powder coated materials. Heat and pressure is applied which causes the inks to with go a phase change from a solid directly into a gas.
This change allows for the inks to be transferred directly into the powder-
coating, causing the inks to become part of the finish layer rather than just laying on top like traditional printing methods. Once the UV stable inks are embedded into the powder coated surface, these finishes now have all the mechanical benefits from the powder coating while also gaining the aesthetic advantages from sublimation. The combination of extruded aluminum, powder coating,
and sublimated finishes has undoubtedly resulted in the future of building materials, which go further to reach even higher demanding levels of quality performance and sustainability.

RESISTANCE TO ICE & THAWING
Luxyclad's corrosion resistance is enhanced in extremely cold conditions, making it ideal for use in snow and ice without fear of accelerated breakdown due to contact with moisture.
Luyxclad is very consistent in both dimension and thickness which minimizes the need for field corrections and allows for easy installation.
HIGH UV RESISTANCE
Luxyclad high-performance finishes are AAMA 2604/04 rated, making them highly resistant to ultra violet (UV) rays, resulting in a long lasting, highly aesthetic product.
Luxyclad finishes are robust and protect against parallel-linear exertions of force. Increased scratch resistance results in better protection against weathering, chemicals and general wear.
Luxyclad's super durable finishes and high tensile strength have incredible impact resistance, making it ideal for high traffic areas such as commercial buildings and retail applications.
Luxyclad is created from 70% recycled content and finished with hyper durable powder coatings which contain zero volatile organic compounds (VOC's). Our products are completely recyclable at the end of their life cycle.
& NON TOXIC
Luxyclad does not combust and even at extremely high temperatures does not produce toxic fumes.
Luxyclad is made from architectural grade aluminum and sealed to offer extremely high weatherability and corrosion resistance, even in the most extreme environments.
